Andy Kenney never let the Cubs get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Storm Chasers to a win, 5-1. The Cubs, now 24-30, have lost 6 straight.

Kenney, who leaned on his fastball, allowed 1 run on just 3 hits over 8.1 innings for the Storm Chasers. For the most part, Iowa hitters were simply overmatched.

"Andy's as tough as he is talented," said Omaha manager Willie Elizondo.
