Crouch Swings Cubs to 7-2 Win
The Iowa Cubs grabbed a win, 7-2, over the New Orleans Zephyrs at Zephyr Field. Iowa left fielder Joe Crouch went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Iowa pitcher Matthew Wallace got the win. He's now 4-6. Eddie Martinez was tagged with the loss. The third-place Cubs now have a record of 29-25.

Early in the game, Crouch had a solo home run for Iowa. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Cubs on top, 1-0.
