The Albuquerque Isotopes picked up a win at Chukchansi Park, dropping the Fresno Grizzlies, 6-2. Ernie Lowery, who is tied for 3rd in the PC in strikeouts with 75, was the difference-maker. Getting the save was Danny Youngblood, his 4th. The win lifted the Albuquerque record to 32-23.
Albuquerque used the hitting of Andres Fernandez to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Isotopes on top, 1-0. For the game, Fernandez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Fernandez.
