The Las Vegas 51s powered past the Albuquerque Isotopes, 11-3, at Cashman Field. Joe McNally went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4, to lead the charge. Las Vegas pitcher Matt Lemke got the win, upping his record to 8-1. Matt Young got the loss. Josh Burr picked up the save, his 4th.
Las Vegas third baseman Jamie O'Neill contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 31st hit of the season and put the 51s ahead, 4-1.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Las Vegas manager Jeff Elgin.
The 51s are now 32-25, while the Isotopes fall to 27-30.
