The El Paso Chihuahuas and Salt Lake Bees put on quite a show.

The El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Salt Lake Bees, 7-4, in 11 innings. Doing his part was left fielder John Helgeson, who was 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. El Paso reliever Danny Gonzalez picked up the win to move to 2-0. Jim Kolling suffered the loss.

Dave Preston helped out the El Paso cause in the top of the ninth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-6 with 2 singles.

"You can never predict what'll happen," Preston said. "That's why you play the game."

With the victory, the Chihuahuas record stands at 29-30.
