Wellon Goes Distance in 4-1 Win
Fresno pitcher Harman Wellon did his part in helping his team beat the Sacramento River Cats, 4-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Fresno is third in the Pacific Conference North Division with a record of 34-28.

Wellon earned the win to move to 4-4. In his complete game performance, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, striking out 5 and walking 1.

"Harman knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Fresno manager Mike Gibson.
