Cubs Lose Late to Dodgers
The Oklahoma City Dodgers took Iowa pitcher Sam Delcour's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The final score had Oklahoma City getting past the Cubs, 6-4. Delcour went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 7. The win belonged to James Murano in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Omar Zaragoza took the loss for Iowa. Josh Morgan closed it out for his 6th save.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Julio Maldonado came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Iowa pitcher Omar Zaragoza, he hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Oklahoma City on top, 4-3.

"We all want to win," said Maldonado. "We all want to do our part."

The setback makes Iowa 26-37.
