Grizzlies Lose Again, 3-2, to Isotopes
The Albuquerque Isotopes picked up a win at Isotopes Park, courtesy of Victor Gonzales. The right-hander helped his team stop the Fresno Grizzlies, 3-2. Gonzales got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. John Ekdar closed the door for Albuquerque, picking up his 4th save of the year.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Isotopes had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the first, when left fielder Andres Fernandez hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Miguel Fregoso and made the score 2-0, Isotopes. Fernandez was 1 for 3.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Fresno manager Mike Gibson. "We just didn't cash in."

Albuquerque is now 45-17, while Fresno is 24-38.
