Isotopes Earn Late Win
The Albuquerque Isotopes grabbed a win, 11-10, over the El Paso Chihuahuas at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque second baseman Phil DePuydt was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a triple. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Jonas Bruinink, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3.2 innings. Albuquerque is now 39-25, while El Paso is 29-35.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jordan Garcia in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a bases-clearing double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Rhodes to win the game for Albuquerque. The home crowd went nuts.

"This is truly a great team to play with," Garcia said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."
