Streaking Grizzlies Win Another One, 4-2
The exploits of shortstop Del Bannerman, who is tied for 4th in the PC with a .395 on-base percentage, helped the Fresno Grizzlies defeat the Salt Lake Bees, 4-2. Bannerman was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Fresno is now 28-37, Salt Lake 29-36.

With Fresno leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Bannerman came up to bat against Salt Lake pitcher Vic Correa. Bannerman hit a sinker to left for a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Grizzlies on top, 3-0.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Bannerman told the Fresno Times.
