Storm Chasers Lose to Sounds in Walk-Off
|
The Nashville Sounds topped the Omaha Storm Chasers, 4-3, in American Conference action at Herschel Greer Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Nashville pitcher and Baldwin Park, California, native Ryan Wolfe. At 28-35, the Sounds are currently last in the American Conference South Division.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Nashville second baseman Ayden Jones, facing George Bryan, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Sounds the 4-3 win.
"This place was rocking at the end," Jones said.
