The Round Rock Express electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

Willie Lopez did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Iowa Cubs from being beaten, 4-3, to the Round Rock Express at Dell Diamond. Lopez was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Round Rock reliever Ethan Michaels snagged the win, upping his record to 2-1. David Joplin shouldered the loss.

Chiaki Koike was the walk-off hero for Round Rock. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Express designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Koike said in his postgame press conference.

With the win, the Express have a record of 36-27.
