The Sacramento River Cats topped the Las Vegas 51s by the score of 7-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Chris Strong. Strong was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the River Cats on the day. Nick Webb got credit for the save for Sacramento. It was his 9th of the year. The River Cats saw their record improve to 36-30.
