The Buffalo Bisons topped the Rochester Red Wings, 3-2, in International League action at Coca-Cola Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Buffalo pitcher John Ferch. In 7 innings, Ferch surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Dustin Marks picked up the save for Buffalo, his 2nd of the year.

In the bottom of the sixth, Buffalo left fielder Leo Partida gave his team the lead. With no one out and a runner on 2nd, Dynamo hit his 1st home run of the year. Rochester pitcher Tony Macias surrendered it. With that, the Bisons jumped in front, 3-2.

"It was our day today," Ferch told the Buffalo Daily News. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."

The win gives Buffalo a record of 3-5.
