The Pawtucket Red Sox defeated the Rochester Red Wings, 1-0, in International League action at Frontier Field. Pawtucket pitcher Allen Reeves had a standout performance. Jayden Banks earned the save for Pawtucket, his 2nd of the year. The loss drops Rochester to 4-4.

It could have been a different outcome for Pawtucket, had it not been for Jason McIntosh, the 27-year old center fielder . McIntosh contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Pawtucket up, 1-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," McIntosh said.
