Storm Chasers Win by Slim Margin, 7-6
The Nashville Sounds could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Nick Sanford into a win. Instead, the Omaha Storm Chasers prevailed, 7-6, in 12 innings. Sanford threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Chris Hardy was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was Tyler Bailey. Steve Tucker was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.
