The Reno Aces stymied the Salt Lake Bees, 1-0, at Smith's Ballpark. Matt Mountain had a good day at the plate. He threw 7.2 innings of shutout ball for Reno. Mountain yielded no runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 6-5. Picking up the save was Scott Andrus, his 10th.

Reno used the timely hitting of Yoelbi Eugnio to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Aces on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Eugnio told the Reno Today.
