Though he had a terrific game, Mark Overton could not prevent his team, the Oklahoma City Dodgers, from absorbing a loss. Omaha won the game, 8-4. Overton was 4-4 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jalen Covington was the winner. He's now 3-0. The loser was Juan Velasquez. With the win, the Storm Chasers improved to 43-26.

Ryan Miller had a big solo home run for the Storm Chasers in the top of the third inning. With Omaha leading 3-2 and the bases empty, he sized up a cutter from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Velasquez and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Storm Chasers on top, 4-2.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Miller.
