Starting pitcher Antonio Arroyo was a major factor in the 4-1 Nashville Sounds triumph over the New Orleans Zephyrs. Arroyo, now 1-0, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Nashville is now 26-43, while New Orleans is 25-44.
Tong-myeon Narm helped out the Nashville cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher went 1-3.
