Brandt Hits Two Dingers, Bees Win, 6-4
The Salt Lake Bees topped the Sacramento River Cats, 6-4, with right fielder Eduard Brandt playing a big role. Brandt hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Bees in the win. John Stark got credit for the save for Salt Lake. It was his 1st of the year. With the win, the Bees sit at 36-33.

Henry Quiroz came through with a big-time hit for Salt Lake. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
