The Omaha Storm Chasers topped the Nashville Sounds, 10-5, at Werner Park. Omaha catcher Matt Gremillion was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-2 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs. The save was credited to William Guaman, his 4th. Omaha leads the American Conference North Division by 2½ games.

Andy Alford had a clutch at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for the Storm Chasers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Omaha trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
