Dupré Tames Sounds 3-0, 16 Ks
|
Led by an outstanding performance from starter Louis Dupré, the Oklahoma City Dodgers topped the Nashville Sounds by a score of 3-0 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The 25-year-old Dupré brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 3 hits and giving up 3 walks.
"He made a lot of good pitches out there," Sounds manager Victor Santillanes said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
To date this year, in 9 starts, Dupré has crafted a 4-4 mark with a 4.14 ERA.
