The home crowd had a good time watching the Las Vegas 51s and El Paso Chihuahuas get after it.

A good performance from first baseman Ben Culligan helped the El Paso Chihuahuas defeat the Las Vegas 51s, 8-4. Culligan was 2-4 with 2 home runs for the Chihuahuas. Travis LeBlanc locked down his 5th save.

Steve Redlin hit a run-scoring triple off Ethan Carter in the bottom of the third, which put the Chihuahuas in front, 2-1. Redlin had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 4.

"I like winning," Culligan told the El Paso Gazette. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."

The last-place Chihuahuas now have a record of 36-38.
