Rainiers Send Reno Home with 10-5 Loss
With catcher Shane Paulson leading the charge, the Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Reno Aces, 10-5, at Cheney Stadium. Paulson was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jose Jasso recorded his 12th save for Tacoma. Tacoma occupies third place in the Pacific Conference North Division at 33-42.

With Tacoma leading 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth, Paulson hit a run-scoring single off Reno hurler Ricky Muro. It was the 43rd hit of the season for Paulson and put his team ahead, 7-5.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Wayne Blanchard said.
