Storm Chasers Lose as Sounds Stage Late Rally
|
Behind the hitting of Tong-myeon Narm, the Nashville Sounds defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 7-3. Narm was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Sounds. Nashville pitcher Dustin McClellan earned the win, hiking his record to 2-2. David Santana suffered the loss. By defeating Omaha, the third-place Sounds improved to 32-44.
Nashville relied on the bat of Mike Steinman to get the win. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sounds ahead, 5-3. For the game, Steinman had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Narm told the Nashville News.
