Reno Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Reno Aces overcame a fine performance by El Paso left fielder Jason Borden to defeat the Chihuahuas, 7-6, at Aces Ballpark. Borden went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jim Unknown, now 1-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. Reno is in last place in the Pacific Conference North Division with a record of 22-55.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Reno trailing 6-5, Melvin Ramos jumped on a 3-1 sinker from Aaron D'Uva for a 2-run home run, sending the Aces to a walk-off win.

"This place was rockin'," said Ramos.
