The Omaha Storm Chasers picked up a win at Principal Park, downing the Iowa Cubs, 4-2. On the mound for Omaha was right-hander David Quinones, who played a pivotal role in the win. The second-place Storm Chasers bumped their record to 46-29.

Omaha used the hitting of Dan Nardi to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Storm Chasers on top, 2-0. For the game, Nardi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
