Caraveo Deals Salt Lake 6-0 Setback
|
The Tacoma Rainiers got a strong performance from pitcher Felix Caraveo, who stymied the Salt Lake offense en route to a win, 6-0, at Cheney Stadium. The Rainiers are now 39-39, while the Bees fall to 33-45.
Caraveo allowed no runs over 8.1 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Tacoma manager Tyler Myers.
