Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Isotopes

The Albuquerque Isotopes picked up a win at Isotopes Park, knocking off the Sacramento River Cats, 4-3, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Dan Hofmann played a key role in the triumph. Albuquerque reliever Chris Stumpf picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Nick Woods was saddled with the loss. The Isotopes are now 42-37, while the River Cats fall to 41-38.
Albuquerque got a clutch hit from Jordan Garcia. The designated hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Garcia after the game.
