Jernigan Silences Oklahoma City, 6-0
|
Omaha hurler Aaron Jernigan put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Oklahoma City Dodgers with a 6-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks to pick up the win.
"I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Oklahoma City manager Vicente Gutierrez told reporters after the game.
In the current season in 16 starts, Aaron Jernigan has a record of 9-5 with 89 strikeouts in 107.2 innings and a 4.60 ERA.
