Salto Stars for Isotopes in 10-6 Win
In the 10-6 Albuquerque win over Fresno, the impact of Francisco Salto was substantial. Salto, who is tied for 4th in the PC in runs scored with 47, went 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Albuquerque reliever Chris Alexander was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Gene Kaiser took the loss for Fresno. The Isotopes now have a record of 45-34.

Albuquerque took a 6-5 lead on Mike Schirmer's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Schirmer hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Fresno pitcher Gene Kaiser shaking his head.

"We got the victory," said Schirmer. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
