Round Rock had no answer for Colorado Springs Sky Sox hurler Justin Edwards, who overwhelmed Express hitters as the Sky Sox coasted to victory, 6-1. Colorado Springs is now 39-41, Round Rock 33-44.

Colorado Springs used a clutch at-bat from Joe Bentley to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Sky Sox ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Edwards told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
