Sherwood Propels Pawtucket to 2-0 Win
Mike Sherwood imposed his will on the IronPigs from the get-go. Relying mainly on his slider, the right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 Pawtucket triumph. Alexis Cordova collected his 3rd save. So far, the 2111 season has been disappointing for Lehigh Valley, now 4-6.

Sherwood ran roughshod over the Lehigh Valley lineup. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 7. With the victory, he goes to 2-0 on the season.

"Mike doing his thing just hyped us all up," said Pawtucket manager David Larson.
