Colorado Springs Sends New Orleans Packing with 4-3 Loss
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the New Orleans Zephyrs at Zephyr Field. Colorado Springs pitcher Franklin Castro held his own in the contest. The Sky Sox, at 40-41, sit in third place in the American Conference North Division.

Colorado Springs used the hitting of Joey Puente to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sky Sox on top, 4-0. For the game, Puente had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
