River Cats Walk It Off for 48th Win of Season
The Sacramento River Cats had to overcome a fine effort from Reno pitcher Nick Stephens to win, 7-6, at Raley Field. Stephens went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The third-place Aces have lost 4 consecutive games.

Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 26-year old center fielder Jose Castillo had a real shot to win the game. Reno pitcher David Nickerson was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Castillo hit a 2-run single. The River Cats had a walk-off triumph.

"This game was intense," Castillo said, postgame.
