Fresno center fielder Marco Gonzalez had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the El Paso Chihuahuas, 11-1. Gonzalez picked up 2 singles and 2 doubles in the ballgame. Jim Grangroth, credited with the win, is now 8-7. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 9 innings. The Grizzlies saw their win-loss record go to 36-47. At the same time, the Chihuahuas fell to 38-45.

"Nothing to write home about," El Paso manager Matt Pace said, when asked afterward about the game.
