Enrique Escobar batted in 3 runs to lead El Paso to a win over Las Vegas. The final score was 14-4. Escobar chipped in 3 singles and 1 home run. The Chihuahuas saw their record improve to 56-28.

The 51s had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Chihuahuas going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old second baseman Kenny Keith came to the plate. Keith hit a run-scoring triple on a 3-1 sinker from Las Vegas hurler Landon Clair. It was Keith's 2nd triple of the year.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Keith.
