Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Nashville Sounds got the win.

The Nashville Sounds topped the Omaha Storm Chasers, 4-3, in American Conference action at Herschel Greer Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Nashville pitcher and Greeley, Colorado, native Tyler Bailey. Joey Wright earned his 2nd save, after closing out the game.

Sam Bowes went 1-3 for Nashville. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Bowes had a clutch at-bat. Facing Omaha hurler Jonathan Polk, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Sounds a 2-1 lead.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Omaha manager Lorenzo Villatoro.

The loss makes Omaha 49-34.
