The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The Express grabbed a win, 4-3, at Dell Diamond, overcoming a fine effort from Iowa pitcher Fumikazu Nakahama. Nakahama went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Willie Perez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 3-5.

Jordan Williams delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Express. For the game, Williams drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Williams told the Round Rock News.

The victory gives Round Rock a record of 46-39.
