Dodgers Squelch Storm Chasers Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Oklahoma City Dodgers knocked off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 4-0, in American Conference action at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Oklahoma City pitcher and Cabral, Dominican Republic, native Jordan Roman had an outstanding performance. Josh Morgan got the save, his 6th in 10 chances. At 51-34, the Dodgers find themselves in first place in the American Conference North Division.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the sixth inning, but Roman was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Omaha trailing 2-0, Roman retired Dan Nardi, who grounded out.
