Aces Deal Fresno 4-2 Defeat
|
Inayat Ullah Clark, who is tied for 6th in the PC in innings pitched with 110.0, propelled his team to victory over the Fresno Grizzlies. The final score was 4-2, Reno. The winning pitcher was Clark, now 4-10. He tossed 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 8. The Aces go to 22-67 with the win.
Mike Cook had a big 2-run home run for the Aces in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Reno leading 2-1 and a runner on 3rd, he got a slider from Johnny Gibson, who is tied for 3rd in the PC in strikeouts with 104, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aces ahead, 4-1.
"Inayat Ullah can overpower you," said Reno manager Jose Heredia.
