Rick Reckers was locked in. The right-hander led the New Orleans Zephyrs to a 5-3 win against the Omaha Storm Chasers at Zephyr Field. New Orleans is now 32-57, Omaha 51-38.

The Zephyrs got a big at-bat from third baseman Aiden Stevens. For the game, Stevens was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave New Orleans a 2-0 lead.

"I just made my pitches," said Reckers, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
