Storm Chasers Suffer 10-4 Road Loss
The New Orleans Zephyrs knocked off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 10-4, at Zephyr Field. Gary Sorenson was a big reason New Orleans won. The first baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jayson Andrews got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 7.2 innings, giving up 9 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 1. New Orleans is now 45-45, while Omaha is 44-44.

New Orleans took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, Joseph Thomson hit a 2-run single to make it 6-4, Zephyrs.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Thomson, "and then get after it again."
