Victory Over Grizzlies Takes El Paso to 63-28
Lorenzo Rivas had a good game, but he could not keep the Fresno Grizzlies from falling, 11-6, to the El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University park. The Fresno catcher went 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 4 runs and scored once in the loss. Matt Zmuda earned the win, while 22-year old right-handed pitcher Manny Gonzalez took the loss for Fresno. El Paso, at 63-28, is cruising.

In the bottom of the second, 24-year old third baseman Ben Culligan hit a 2-run triple. The 1st triple of the season for the El Paso first baseman put the Chihuahuas on top, 3-2.

"We're in some kind of groove right now," said Culligan.
