Indians Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
Indianapolis Indians starter Adrian Snoeberger turned in an exceptional performance against the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park, resulting in a Indianapolis win, 5-0. Snoeberger, now 1-1, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing no runs. The loss drops Columbus to 1-10.
Indianapolis used a clutch at-bat from Brandon Jackson to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Indians ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I believe in our guys," said Indianapolis skipper Ray Behm. "I like the energy they're playing with."
