Fresno pitcher Johnny Gibson gave the Rainiers all they could handle, but in the end, Tacoma left Chukchansi Park with a win, 2-1. Gibson allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 7.1 innings. Earning his 5th save for Tacoma was Kerry Johnson. The Rainiers now have a record of 48-45.
