The Sacramento River Cats beat the Reno Aces, 6-3, at Aces Ballpark. David Pena, who leads the PC in doubles with 27, starred for Sacramento. He was 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Getting the save was Mel Arreola, his 3rd.

Sacramento won the game in part because of Brad Reichle. The second baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the River Cats ahead, 4-3. For the game, Reichle had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Pena.

Sacramento now sits at 55-39, while Reno falls to 40-54.
