The Memphis Redbirds weathered an outstanding game by Omaha designated hitter Matt Anderson to topple the Storm Chasers, 10-7. Anderson was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2. Blake Costello got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 3.1 innings. Adam Moore got the save, the 6th for him this season.

Jose Rodriguez chipped in for Memphis, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Memphis manager Justin Tullar.

Memphis now owns a record of 54-38.
