Storm Chasers Suffer 6-5 Loss to Redbirds
The Memphis Redbirds knocked off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 6-5, at Werner Park. Miguel Lopez hit 1 single and 3 doubles, while driving in 2 runs. Josh Knapp got credit for the save for Memphis. It was his 7th of the year. After today's action, Memphis sits at 46-51; Omaha slips to 54-44.

Had Ben Selle not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Selle hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Redbirds.
