The Omaha Storm Chasers picked up a win at Werner Park, topping the Memphis Redbirds, 6-4. On the mound for Omaha was right-hander Brent Graham. He played a principal role in the triumph. David Santana earned save number 2 this season. After today's action, Omaha sits at 53-46; Memphis slips to 52-46.

Edwin Gonzalez had a big 3-run home run for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the first inning. With Omaha leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a cutter from Ray Blasetti, who is tied for 10th in the AC with a 3.79 ERA, and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Storm Chasers on top, 5-0.

"Brent can bring it," said Omaha manager Lorenzo Villatoro.
