Aaron Rego did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Salt Lake Bees an extra-inning, 8-7 loss to the Las Vegas 51s at Cashman Field. Rego was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Las Vegas pitcher David Wade earned the win, hiking his record to 2-6. Erik Nasuti suffered the loss. The last-place 51s now sit at 47-52.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Las Vegas trailing 7-6, Matt Williams hit a splitter from Erik Nasuti to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the 51s had a walk-off win.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Williams said after the game.
