Chihuahuas Fall to .500 After 7-5 Loss to Isotopes
The Albuquerque Isotopes beat the El Paso Chihuahuas at Isotopes Park. The final score was 7-5, in favor of Albuquerque. Mauricio Chavarria led the way, going 3-for-4 for the home team. Bryson Moffatt earned the save, his 4th in 6 tries. The win for the Isotopes lifted their record to 55-45.

Matt Martinez drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances for Albuquerque. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jose Perez. It was his 13th walk of the season.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Martinez told the Albuquerque News.
