Pitcher Alex Garza was sensational for the Toledo Mud Hens in his team's 10-1 triumph over the Rochester Red Wings. Garza earned the win. The loss lowers the Rochester record to 6-6.

Toledo used the hitting of Steve Schurman to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Mud Hens on top, 3-1. For the game, Schurman had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Alex is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Toledo manager Will Esparza.
